DEAR FELLOW OKLAHOMAN and AMERICAN

Our journey has begun... a journey to restore America. This journey must return this nation to the promise our Founders gave to each of us. As Conservative Americans, we wake every day in a nation that we no longer recognize. We work to secure our children's future while our government steals it away. Our government no longer respects its citizens, and is indifferent to their support. The people must reignite our great American heritage, and rekindle that truly unique American characteristic known as our experiment in self-government. We must take our country back.

The Houchen for Congress campaign is the result of the direct urgings of citizens from across Oklahoma and around this great Nation to install a dedicated Constitutional Conservative to represent Eastern Oklahoma in Washington D.C. The intent of our founders must not fade into the past. Freedom is what those men sought and fought for, and now freedom is what we must fight for again: Freedom from crippling regulatory actions, choking taxation, and reckless fiscal and monetary policies. We must fight as if Liberty herself were at risk...because it is!

From day one I never considered myself nor presented the Houchen for Congress campaign as "MY" campaign...it is "OUR" campaign. It is a journey I ask you to step up and take with me, and the thousands like you, that wish to restore America to the mantle of history;s greatest and lasting achievements where she so rightly belongs, and leave a better future for our children and grandchildren.
